June at the Honeymoon Meadery saw the release of our new batch of Oak & Honey Rapture mead. The phenomenal mead spent 16 months in French Oak barrels and the oak influence is sure to impress! Although fairly dry, the texture, body and mouthfeel of this mead is certainly full! For those customers who enjoy the Okanagan Delight, try the Oak & Honey Rapture to see what happens when the same mead spends 16 months in Oak – you will be truly amazed at the differences!
As June draws to a close, we are excited to announce that we are working on a new flavor of melomel (fruit and honey wine). Hint: this fruit is harvested each summer in early August throughout B.C and stains your mouth purple – stay tuned for further updates as the summer unfolds!
